Before studying medicine, I worked as a guide on various rivers around the country and co-owned a river company. I found that being in nature and learning to align myself with our environment was and is paramount to my health. I moved to Jackson, Wyoming in 2002 to access the incredible outdoor opportunities and continue to call the Tetons my home. I’ve made deep connections with the people who live here, and It is my great honor to offer my services, with the hopes of helping people in my community find relief.
I found Chinese Medicine after witnessing a seemingly miraculous recovery of a good friend suffering from debilitating back pain. Since then I have used acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine for everything from headaches and knee pain to kidney stones and pneumonia and most recently, recovery from emergency surgery after shattering my tib-fib. I find myself continually in awe of this beautiful system of medicine and ever impressed by its duality of simplicity and complexity and overall effectiveness.
To earn my DTCM (Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine) degree, I attended a 5 year doctorate program in Nelson, British Columbia that included over 4200 hours of instructional and clinical training. During the program, I had the unique experience of studying in Cheng Du, China at several hospitals, clinics, and universities. I am a Licensed Acupuncturist in the State of Wyoming and hold the Diplomat of Oriental Medicine certification with the NCCAOM (National Certification Committee for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine).
